Jess Johnson brought her elite defensive skills from the Division One level to playing professionally in the Champions’s League, and she learned a lot about challenging yourself and new cultures during the process.
Jess Johnson is a professional soccer player based in New Jersey. That’s where she’s spent most of her playing career, racking up a state championship at The Hun School, and MAAC Conference Championships and a host of individual accolades at Monmouth University.
After her playing days ended, Jess took a chance and played professionally for BIIK Kazygurt. Not only did this afford her the opportunity to learn a new culture, but it also gave her the opportunity to play in the Champion’s League.
