Los Angeles. CA — October 5, 2020 — Obsesh today announced that 2021 Olympic Competitor Madeline Price and 2016 Olympian and 2021 Olympic Competitor Pauls Pujats have joined the Company’s roster of pro athletes.
Obsesh makes it easy for high-performing athletes and influencers to sell their skills online. With a turn-key platform and simple tools, Obsesh removes the barriers to selling online, right from the palm of your hand.
“So many fellow athletes are trying to crack the balance between staying focused on training and Olympic goals, while hustling side jobs to afford our training, coaching and living expenses. With Obsesh, I can share my skills and passions with others and get more engaged with all my fans through the medium fans love most…video!” added Madeline.
A professional track athlete and member of the Canadian National Track & Field team, Madeline is currently training in Durham, North Carolina in pursuit of her Olympic dream to compete in Tokyo in 2021. Madeline is a force on and off the track, rounding out 2019 as a World Championships Finalist in the 4×400. The Canadian Women’s relay team has their sights set on the Olympic Podium. During her celebrated collegiate track career at Duke, Madeline received her BA in Sociology and Political Science and a Masters of Management Studies from Duke’s Fuqua School of Business (19’).
A native of Latvia, Pauls holds a bachelor’s degree in international business from the University of Memphis where he had a hugely successful track and field career before competing for his country at the Olympic Games in Rio in 2016. With four more years of high performance competition and training, he is expected to be a top competitor in the 2021 Tokyo Olympics.
“I will always be driven by the love for my sport of pole vaulting, but I’m also equally passionate about helping people properly recover and be in a healthy mindset on and off their sport,” said Pujats. “These skills, knowledge, and hands-on practices can help not only athletes, but anyone reach their full potential.”
“We are living in different times where we need to be aware, responsible, and make change together, especially when it comes to the wildly popular athletes who don’t have the resources like salaries and business teams, to women, or to the lesser known niche sports,” said Jonalyn Morris, CoFounder of Obsesh. “When so many athletes are struggling to afford even one more year of training, I’m proud to bring them an opportunity to make income on their own terms and to feel supported in building their brand.”
Obsesh is currently invite-only for top athletes and sports influencers. The company already works with pro surfer Anthony Walsh, pro athlete and tiny home living expert Andrew Muse, pro parkour athlete Jesse La Flair, elite climbers Alex Manikowski and Emily Childress, and more.
